Hello,

20192 - "A Determined Attack!" Zulu Attacking 24th Foot from High Position finally arrived.

When I ordered it in 2018, it said Limited Edition of 450 Sets.

The figures are very good but there is no certificate and no mention on the box of a limited edition.

I am very happy with it, but I would like to know if anybody else received a certificate. I'm not sure if mine is missing or if Britain's just changed the production to non limited.

hello my 20192 just arrived also with no certificate I have also heard from several other uk collectors all with no certs

no assume it does not have one , and as you say no mention being 450 limited edition on the box , although thats what it says on Britains web site
also interesting that no members club advert leaflet included either .

I understand they arrived with no certificates; one dealer is following up with WB before sending them out.

Thank you for the answers Gents

That's good to know. It doesn't really mater as long as they are all the same. I'm very happy with the figure. I just wanted to make sure mine was not missing and would be devalued.

Good point about the membership leaflet. I never noticed that.

As long as you like the set that is the main thing.

I would not call this a limited edition set, I would call it 'rare'. As it is rare that WB actually release something! Lets hope Ken has got this sorted finally.

On limited edition, at 450 it is certainly not limited, does anyone thing think there are people out there that will want 451 sets? I know K & C used to do much larger limited editions, I think the desert Tiger 1 was around 1250, but that was a different time. In todays market I do not think producing 450 is limited. The only company I can think of making limited edition figures/sets is T Gunn, their latest 4 WW2 SS marching troops sold out, by which mean no longer available from T Gunn, there are a few available from dealers, in around 2 to 3 days [100 sets] and I think the summer Panzer IV sold out in around a week. Plus their planes are always small runs.

I also think it is available to anyone so cannot be called limited edition. No certificate tells the story, I think you stand more chance of them changing the website and removing the limited edition label. Possibly it was rush job to get it out and the certificates were not ready? I am more inclined to think it was a clumsy marketing/promotional statement.

Enjoy the set for what it is and if you do not appreciate it simply remove it from your dio and look at the empty space, then put it back and realise how good it is to have it and not having a piece of paper saying it is a limited edition makes no difference. I cannot see it rising in value, with there being 450 out there, unlike the early barricade sets etc.

On limited editions, in the History of the British gloss series I have two so called limited edition figures which have certificates, same figure same individual number, 127, on both certificates. way before current management. Therefore either error in printing or there are more than the stated limited edition and before anyone asks it is the same figure. I would enjoy them but, as with many of us, room to display and funds are the enemy which are against us and the series is boxed away waiting for aa house move, where I will have more room.

Stay safe.
