I was able to photograph the K&C 7th Cavalry and Indians. The background /foreground image was taken at the Little Big Horn park in Montana. My biggest problem was the battle scene kept getting larger and larger as I added more figures to it. I have posted four images: the full battle diorama, it ended up being 52" wide and is probably too small to see all the details in this format. Then I have attached three enlarged sections so you can see more details. It's been one of the most involved diorama I have done to date. I think the figures have a really excellent quality to them and made for an exciting battle image.

Amazing photo technique, never seen figures in this format before, needless to say..excellent, Robin.
 
Very impressive !! as ther say in French " Chapeau" (I take my hat off for such a display!!)

Wow! This would have to be one of the best dio's i have seen and the foreground just melts into the backdrop!

Wow...great work.....terrific background.....could almost be a picture except for the brightness of the figures....well done...TomB
