That is a great backdrop you have there. What desert is that. All you need know is a bunch more of those camel troops to go with it. I have a Sommerset LAS01 set that would look great against it.
I thought I still had the background in my files but I guess after I printed it out it got deleted. I got it off the web. It could be the Sahara or somewhere in Morocco. If I find it I will let you know.
Randy
That is very kind of you. Thank you
"A Camel's Tale: Sudan 1885"
Robert White, a trooper in the Heavy Camel Regiment, surveys the surrounding desert always on the alert for the Mahdi Army threatening the British presence in the Sudan in the 1880s. He wears a white pattern sun helmet, a foreign service uniform consisting of a grey tunic, light brown breeches, and dark blue puttees over brown boots. His weapon is the Martini Henry rifle. This regiment was part of the Gordon Relief Expedition. [Little Legion HCR4]
Hi Randy,
These are excellent images of a mounted trooper of the Heavy Camel Corp Regt by Mike Norris.
Now I can appreciate the small differences between the Little Legion version and the my good old Trophy ones.
Have a Great Weekend, Raymond.
Valet Parking at the K&C lot, Hong Kong?
Too funny, Randy! I can imagine the organisation of the Park Lot, what with the Germans and British collaborating on it.
