Ken Ciak of LOD has sent pics of his Greek Galley mock up. Masts and oars are to be plastic while the body of the ship will be foam. Very, very cool. Looks like a beautiful job. Painting it's going to be fun (don't know whether it will come in a painted version). The fighting deck is close to the gunnels, as was the case in these galleys. Marines fought in a pretty exposed position. Lots of room on the deck for a number of figures. No reason why this galley couldn't be used for a Roman or Carthaginian ship with a little stretch of the imagination. Ken will probably post a pic later.
