Jeff, Tony is worried because when Catherine is in the office, suddenly he and Mike are redundant and can no longer claim to be working;)

Good news that the show needs to expand, but as I recall a couple of rooms upstairs were used once before and were not very successful. Low ceilings, very hot and cramped and poorly attended by the customers mainly due to poor signposting and unfamiliarity. Let's hope that a better alternative is available.

Yep. It's called the bar. Sure fire sales guarenteed.
In fact, if Catherine hosts a K&C table in the bar, I'm pretty certain that Mr Wilson will be declaring bankruptcy before 7.35am.

We'll be able to throw peanuts and pork scratchings at the poor wretch later on for amusement. ;)

Can anyone recommend any hotels in the area, i have left it late to book the royal national. money trouble:(

The Imperial and a few others in the same chain are no more than a minute or twos walk from the national. I stopped in the Imperial last year. Similar standard to the national - bit quieter though.

Bound to be quieter without Rob doing his act. Even the Somme would be quieter than that.

I'm led to believe he's appearing on the West End, as a warm up act for The Rocky Horror Show. :)

I thought the reverse was true, The Rocky Horror Show being his warm up act.

Unfortunatly that is the only place to go.........however with some good management should work. Ceilings still low but i belive they have aircon up there now. nearly all the late booking tables said they would take the upstairs but we cannot get it for December. myself and dad are doing a recki up there for next year onwards

Should be fun

Oh by the way catherine wants your full name Rob is it Robert or Rob as she needs it for the injunction papers!! :D

Catherine is the only one who talks any sense up there at headquarters, the rest of you are yobbo's!.....except Mike of course who is a true gent and looks very young for his age...oh and then theres Sue who is very friendly...and Dave packs my deliverys expertly...er...you're the only Yobbo Tony!:D;)

For the benefit of all going to the show it is worth mentioning that during the evening the British Military Tournament is on at Earl's Court starting at 7.30. Tickets cost either £29, £39 or £49 and all proceeds are going to the service charities. The format is much like the old Royal Tournament with the field gun race, the Musical Drive of the RHA, the Musical Ride of the Household Cavalry plus battle re-enactment which includes a cavalry charge. The service charities are under heavy pressure at the moment with the increased need to aid the injured from Afghanistan and this show will give them a much needed boost. Could be the perfect end to a good day, a show full of figures, a drink with friends in the bar, and a military display to finish. Plus the warm glow that you have helped the lads at the same time. Tickets and information available at www.britishmilitarytournament.com
