I need to post a couple of more but is the first one NMA? Looks very good. Have to get back to Argentina-Mexico.

Thanks for posting those pics, Brad. That NMA stuff looks pretty darn good, glad I got a desert 232 on order with George. Might have to go for the winter version also..... and maybe that Sturmtiger in the winter camo too.

Fred

The WWII stuff looks great, but what about that lancer in image 2? That looks really interesting. Who, what, when, etc.

Here's the last one. I'm assuming that the figures are NMA. If so, they appear to have made a quantum leap since their initial issue.

It looks like the britains logo behind it i think

Thanks Brad,

The London Toy Soldier Show seemed to be very well attended today. A lot of good stuff but firstly to the images.

Image 1 NMA's new German Para Infantry GFJ1 500 - these are actually made of resin and were just to show what the finished item would be like. A couple of changes to the production models include the material and the painting of some of the collers, rank, etc. They looked pretty good to me.

Image 2 Britains New British WWI Lancer - What can I say - Simply outstanding - Man of the Match - various other accolades - should be the first of a number of cavalry models. Definately want one. Thanks to Mr Britains for letting me photo this figure.

Image 3 NMA SS3 Sdkfz 232 - Can't wait for mine sometime next week.

Image 4 As above but the European varient.

Image 5 NMA SS5 Sturmtiger - Excellent Vehicle - but see below.

Image 6 Winter versions of the 232 and Sturmtiger although I doubt these two very different vehicles ever got to see each other. Yes, there are some K&C figures on the Sturmtiger.

Image 7 NMA SS7 Sturmtiger - Vehicle of the Day, Will soon be in my shopping trolley. I initially thought that the standing figure was K&C but no this is the figure which goes with the vehicle. This is a must have for my Berlin Dio. Note that there are different figures for the two summer versions of the Sturmtiger.

Guys,

So the highlights of the day.

The NMA Sturmtiger SS7 was certainly vehicle of the day, would have been figure of the day but for the British Lancer which was simply outstanding.:D

Besides the above the JG Minatures stand was interesting, I won't steel his thunder but I was very tempted to buy his winter dio. His new stuff is good you will be impressed. He should be sending in some official images soon.

I saw the Collectors Showcase stand and having never heard of them before decided to investigate. Although on their literature they say there 1/32 they look more 1/30 to me and the quality of there figues is certainly high. All the figures seem to be painted like the newer Conte with shading. Sorry, I forget to ask if I could photo these as the wife was waiting "kinda" patiently for me outside at the time. First impession was I woundn't be able to mix them with K&C and NMA but I would probably buy a set or two and put them in their own dio. Good figures, the Pak was excellent.

The K&C stand was as always well set out, I especially liked the Stuart cutting through the bocage, must have taken ages to build that. The new SS German Models were there and even though I initially didn't think much of the converted SP gun, it started to grow on me and I'll probably end up buying it. The Halftrack looked good and I will get it, but the NMA Sturmtiger just stole the prize as Vehicle of the day.

So what did I buy, the ONWTC Loomis battery, three more sets of Britain's ACW figures a stash of JG minatures stuff including veg, bases and accessories and some AIP and Conte British Infantry (Victorian) for my son to act as reinforcements for his Brits against my Sudanese. Oh yes, I also got a number of reinforcements.

PS I've just pre-ordered the SturmTiger.

The shakes have started, the butterflies are already in the stomach,Carmina Burana starts playing in the background and the throat feels parched. England must be playing tomorrow.

Rgds

Andy,

I'm curious as you're saying you're getting the 232 next week. Who are you getting it from? I think many of us might want to get it sooner than later here in the US. Sturmtiger does look outstanding.

About 16 hours to kickoff.

Brad,

From the horses mouth. They probably come direct from the office in the UK. I suppose that for you guys they will be sent to their dealers in the US and then onwards.

Andy

Really looks like NMA is definetly the new kid on the block!

The FJ's did look awesome. The marsh pattern camo really came accross well.
Blake said he also plans desert versions of them.
The desert 232 was my fave of the armoured cars but it was the summer sturmtiger that really did it for me. It looked the business.

NMA are really doing some good stuff at the moment.

Re: Collectors Showcase.

These looked pretty interesting. There were US Airborne and Waffen SS at Kursk.
They were never 1/32 though. To be honest they looked slightly larger than 1/30 but it was hard to judge.
The were painted ina different style to K&C and had a slightly more realistic look to them.
The poses also were some that we haven't really seen before.

Andy-
Very nice pics. I have been a doubter on NMA - still am, but your enthusiasm will make me take a second look. The Sturm looks much better than the 232 to me for some reason. I have Honour Bound fever after seeing the new Winter Panther so the bar is set pretty high now for the competition.
