This is a question for all my good mates across the pond, as my wife and I are planning on traveling to the UK next year for a show and of course some great sights to see!! we are also aware that a trip like this is going to cost a shinny penny or two, so the airfare will be taken care of at the beginning of the year, but we are looking for some type of lodging that will not break the bank but still have running water:)!!...if anyone has suggestions please let me know, really looking forward to this trip for many a year, thanks for any help in advance...Sammy

Sammy,
Not been for a while but the place I have always stayed in London was the Harlingford Hotel in Cartwright Gardens. Good location near to Russell Square tube station and Euston Station (main line to the North). I believe near to where London Show is held. Quite a few hotels in Cartwright Gardens. Includes a good English breakfast but no idea how compares to other places in price. Not your Hilton, Hyatt type but a good comfortable place to stay.
Always fun to plan overseas trips.
Regards
Brett
PS Just a thought but perhaps if others who have stayed in London could add to the thread those that are going might get some ideas or even get enough people together to aim for a group booking and hopefully a discount.
