Look what I found on the net. It’s actually kind of creepy! (1 Viewer)

I wouldn't be surprised at all at what comes back. In this age of the Internet, and social networking sites, from forums like these to Facebook, MySpace, etc, to online chatrooms of every subject, there's so much info out there about everyone who participates, and those who don't but who transact business out in the world, with varying degrees of sensitivity.

What never ceases to amaze me are stories about people who say something stupid on a website, then can't believe when a potential employer decides not to hire them. Like some clown who says something like, "Boy, that Ernst Zundel makes sense" on his Facebook page, then gets turned down for a job. What did the author think?

Our expectations and attitudes are at least a generation behind the technology available to us today.

A while ago Shannon mentioned to me a site, which has all kinds of info about people. That was kind of scary.
