Looking back we have collected a ton of action figures. Star Wars. Transformers. He-Men (MotU). And GI Joe and Buck Rogers and everything else that had good merchandize.

And we collect stuffed animals. And colonial furniature. Books. And lots more.

I would post under 'what else do you collect' but i need some pics. And to rescue all of them from a sealed crate in our basement...

Best Wishes
Paddy

We have all the D&D 1982 range. May look good for Halloween...
Look them up, they are big but might be fun for a cooky scary dio...

Still can't find 'em!

Please post your old collections, no matter how silly, here; b/c why not?!

Paddy

Way back. Robin.

Hi Robin,

I was into 1/18 scale before I got into 1/32 and 1/30. Nice shot/dio.

Here's a few of mine:

Certainly some memories there Rob. I was also big time into Star Wars, but sold everything to get into 1/30. Robin.

Here's an old figure/toy; honestly not sure the theme. Believe it came in a crate to build.

I enjoy Star Wars as well, every now and then I still buy a figure/item. The Black Series figures are really nice.

Hey Robin,

Can't help but wonder about the Smurfs. Any story here?

Agreed. It's a cool setup (I like the Vikings & Mushrooms near the bottom of the pic) and I did watch the Smurfs a few times and I did collect a load of stuffed animals (including very silly ones - so no judgement here!) but I'd like to know how & why this dio came about as well!
Best Wishes

We did the 80's Knights & Castles and the Space ranges as well as some construction stuff; I had to have dad make the town correctly - Legos are rightly touted as some of the coolest toys ever! Love the pirates!

Star Wars was my very first collection (my Dad started it for me as I chewed on a pacifier). We have a good percentage of the early stuff, though sadly not always in good shape. We got it all back then. Man, that was fun!

I'd be interested to learn about what's cool now... may be a good B-Day gift for Dad as he did for me over 40 years ago.

Cool pic!

My grandchildren play with the Smurfs these days, but way back, these little Blue men were a lot more aggressive. Robin.

Robin, your dios are amazing. I esp. like your old 1/18 scale scenes. I always found it difficult to photograph 1/18 due to the larger size. 21st Century made some great stuff back in the day. Forces of Valor, Power Team Elite, and Elite Force offered some nice pieces as well. Fun stuff!

EDIT: I was collecting the US figures and vehicles, my brother the Germans. Was always wanting to set up a couple of tables bringing them together in a battle.
