Dear Mirof,

Thank you very much for all the details you have sent me.
The Tradition of London is a great source.....Andrew C Stadden seems to have given up military offers in the 54mm scale...a pitty{sm2}{sm2}
Need to check the secondary market and those who have sets that with to sell....

Cheers

Luiz

Thanks for the tip.

I can recommend that book, too, Luiz. I have it in my collection. It consists of color photographs that appeared in the old Tradtion magazine. They advertised the various custom figures, showing them in the better quality level of studio finish that could be ordered. It's useful for identifying specific castings, especially those that are portrait figures, like Frederick the Great's or Napoleon's generals.

The current auction price isn't too bad, either. If it goes above the rough equivalent of ten bucks American, though, I wouldn't buy it, myself. It's available enough that you can wait for a good deal.

Prost!
Brad

A few more STADDEN joining the troops.....in the WW1 Slide there are 3 Hope and one unknown Russian manufacturer that made a nice British officer

AC,

The figure to the right of the WW1 figures is a Cheshire Volunteer figure. A sergeant of the Irish Guards.

There is a catalogue on Mirof's site.
