Hi all,
Does anyone know of a 1/32 54 mm scale figure of something like a bishop (with mitre & staff) or similar clergy?
Material inconsequential, can be painted or not.
Things like cereal premiums or dollar store items would also work.
Or German/Austrian St.Nicholas figures.
I was thinking of maybe visiting one of the religious supply stores and see what they have.

In my casablanca parade scene I have a painted plastc-missionary type standing in front of a mosque appearing building,he looks like he may be preaching -converting etc,,His lifespan may be too short to measure as he is surrounded by a hoard of swarthy looking locals.I believe he maybe a marx recast of some sort,,the only westerner around being my sidney greenstreet type watching from the door of the Blue Parrot adjacent.A contigent of sudanese w brit officer passing will render no aid,,,,what was your question ,by jingo

Reviersco ( not sure of the spelling) makes a figure of the one of the Popes and his Swiss Guards. As I recall it is the prior Pope. I believe they have a web site, I mean Reviersco, not the Pope.

MKL has several single figures on sale via ebay and if you call them or email them directly they may have others in stock. One of the sets they are selling goes with the special set Britains did of the Scots Guards with Queen Victoria. She was in a carriage and there was a full band with representative sets of the Guards Regiments. Might big display if you have them all!

I think Imrie-Risley might have one in their catalog, too, you might want to look, at www.saratogasoldier.com.

I recall also a figure of a priest, 54mm, wearing the frock and a biretta, but I don't remember who made it. Might have been Sanderson, or Old Guard, someone from the 60s or 70s. I think I have it in my stash--an original, because it's been copied pretty frequently. There was a nun in the same series, with a habit and wimple; I think I have that one, too.

Look also in eBay. The Canadian seller bfledger (his eBay ID) has a lot of 54mm figures in his lists, painted to middling toy soldier standards, and including many figures from now-defunct makers. I am certain that he has some clergy in his catalog, and his foot figures are listed around $10 to start, if I remember correctly.

Hope that helps, prost!

Sarum Soldiers have a considerable number of various clergy, nuns, choirboys etc.

I believe Time Machine Miniatures have one in kit form.

You can likely find some older Alymer figures and I know of some vintage Britains pieces.
