My father collected a few pieces, which I have had since 1995. Was wondering where to bring these in massachusetts to find out information on them. I will probally sell them but know nothing about them.One is set #3917 th Lancers 1879 3 pieces in box. The other is Confederate Infantry 6 pieces in box. The last one is no. 40 mounted officer 17th lancers 1879 all Imperial any help would be appreciated.

Imperial is a New Zealand based manufacturer [greytown to be precise ]
with a slight bias I would say they made and still make some of the best
traditional glossy soldiers in the world.
All of the sets you have listed are no longer being produced , I cant help
you on where to take them in the US ,but if you decide to sell ebay is
probably your best bet.

Without any bias I would say that to me they definitely make the best traditional glossy toy soldiers in the world...:p. Not some of the best, quite simply the best!
