Reduce the size of the photos and it will work...

You can go to shrinkpictures.com , once you have the photo loaded to your computer...go to this site shrink the picture & then save it back to your computer...You will then be able to upload the new downsized photo to treefrog...

Hi, Jim, and welcome to the forum.

Instead of attaching photos, you might want to consider using one of the online hosting websites, like Photobucket, and then using links to show your photos. Then you don't have to worry about resizing the files.

Prost!

As a youth, I made a clothespin figure or 2, but nowhere as nice..Then ,for a time, I made paper/cardboard figures and vehicles..I have a few left that survived 20 plus years of laying about. My weakening eyes as well as steady hands have convinced me not to take it up again..Michael

Thanks for all the replies, and comments! I am pretty happy with these guys. I could never do the fine detail work of the rest of you with the minatures. My soldiers are pretty much for kids to play with.

My eyes are weakening also.

I do appreciate the kind comments. I didn't know if my work would be appropriate for this site or not.

Jim ,

I wouldn't see any reason why your work would not be appropriate here...This is a toy soldier forum , & you make toy soldiers...This site is diverse , people here collect plastic & metal as well as other mediums...wouldn't see why wood would be excluded from that...Again very nice...Always like to see something different...Would like to see more of your work...Do you make toy soldiers from any other conflicts ?

Joe

Hi Jim! Nice figures! Good to see more folks that make their own figures if they can.

Hey Thanks Joe

I also do Civil War Soldiers. In fact I started with the Civil War 14 years ago. I'd like to post more pictures, but I'm pretty inept with computers, even with the very good help all you members have given me.

I'll try other wars if requested, I may have to simplify as some uniforms are to ornate to do such as american rev musians coats, highlanders etc.

I'll keep trying. If you or anyone else would like to give their email addresses I could email you pictures faster.

Thanks again. jim c. woburn, ma

Jim ,

Very Nice indeed ! Particularly like the drummers...I mostly collect WW2 era , but as i had said before this site is very diverse...I have also dabbled in Confederate Cavalry...
Great Stuff !
