Would anyone know what injection machine i should be looking at?

You mean, you want to do your own injection-molding? No idea what machine to use, because as far as I know, the cost of the equipment and materials is such that it's not really possible for an individual to set himself up to do it. Casting individual figures in resin is more of a process that an individual can follow.

Why not make a silicone mold and cast them in resin?

3D printing is the way to go now.
But did you want to cast your figures ? Because plastics are the only figures that are injected routinely. What did you want to make the figures out of?
