Manes Marzano is coming out with some amazing new Turkish sets from the Napoleonic era that include camels and camel artillery. Camel artillery! Who knew?

Also sporting camels are these Tuaregs depicted here during a conflict with the French at the end of the 19th century during France's exploration and conquest of the Sahara Desert.

Fernando's work in sculpting and painting of these camel sets is just gorgeous and often makes me feel like I'm looking at a photograph of the real thing rather than a painted metal miniature.
