Is there any information posted about sets that are running low stock and/or sold out? I've been nipped a few times now with items selling out, and not noticing until after the fact. Typically switch between interests/eras, so don't necessarily notice when something disappears right away. Was able to track down a Lord Uxbridge, but missed the Prussian flag/standard bearer, for example. I have sets from 6 different series at this point, but don't monitor them all at all times. I've seen posts mentioning some items running low stock, but I've not run across any consistent way of finding this out. Any pointers?

Thanks,

I think this is at good as it gets presently. Sold out items are in red, but the list I am afraid is not being updated as often as it should be. With the increased popularity of First Legion miniatures and the long availability of many figures, the number of figures which are sold out is increasing rather rapidly. This was not really an issue in the past for me ....

Thanks. That was all I found as well, and also noted it was out of date. I remember seeing on the French Line Infantry page that they were being retired, and not restocked, but don't think I've seen notices that often. Considering some of the lines are a few years old it is bound to happen. My first set was a Crusades set a couple years back. I liked it, and plotted to get a few more in time, but at one point they seemed to go fast and I didn't notice right away. Suppose I could just focus on one area of history, but that wouldn't be as fun! :)

Fortunately, no Civil War items are in the out of production list yet.

I admit that I have not yet adjusted to this new reality of figures selling out and being unavailable. I think the only countermeasure is to focus on one range and ensure you buy the figures you want consistently and expeditiously, obviously (as Gebhard has said many times) by buying the flagbearer, drummer/trumpeter and officer first and then going down the ranks. But I cannot say that I have complied with my own advice all the time. :(

I like more than likely as with a lot of others, has gone into so many different Army's, And because of it has missed out in some selections, that when we finally come back again to fill up that particular set, some are gone .But isn't it a blessing that we have more than enough choices. I rather have that .Than have too few new releases, that we are forced to buy pieces that we really do not want?, Just to fill the craving of having something new. I really feel that we are lucky.
