I spotted at the KC Website (KC Workshop) the M26 ATRV, "The Dragon Wagon without the Wagon (w/o the trailer/transporter)." Great piece for behind the lines diorama. Can't wait to get this baby in my hand. Looking forward for the transporter as a separate piece and maybe the Sherman M32 TRV.

Anyone in the forum knows when this is being released?

If its for the Bulge range then possibly November/December?

The dragon wagon looks like a great piece to me, just got to have something for it to haul...sammy

Did someone mention the Winter Sherman is damaged?

Yeah, we generally put it down to careless posties.:p;)

If you look at the dio pic on the K&C site, it looks like the track has come off. Which fits nicely with the US tank crew released a few months ago.

The M26 tank recovery vehicle could be used in two main ways, as a stand alone recovery vehicle (like a tow truck) or to pull the M15/M15A1 40-ton trailer (the combination then being designated as 40-ton tank transporter M25, nicknamed the "Dragon Wagon" by modelers). Andy stated that there will be a run of about 1250 M26 recovery vehicles in the BoB line with an MSRP of $299 (four figures included). The ones in Gordon's diorama at Chicago look SHARP!!!

Andy stated at the dinner that based on feedback so far that he is probably going to do the version with trailer later. It will be a LONG beastie, but will definitely be the centerpiece on the shelf! It can't be cheap - the 1/35th plastic model by Tamiya retails for around $100 and is a big box full of pieces, so a 1/30th one will be bigger and heavier.

A model worth looking forward to!
