Ret. Maj. Gen. Charles Bond, formerly of the AVG and one of it's last survivors, has passed at the age of 94 in Dallas. Credited with 9 victories while with the Tigers, he went on to an USAF career, retiring in 1969. He received the DFC amongst other awards. A real American hero - Salute!
