Hi All,

I've never posted this piece. A Napoleonic officer of the 6th Ligne Lancers. Made about 20 years back, the pose was inspired by a Bill Ottinger figure. A Historex conversion.

I've started to make minor refurbishments to this piece. The tip of the sword has been reshaped to a point. Improving the painting here and there. No pics yet.

Hi Markster,

thanks for your nice comment. I did this piece many years ago and am still in the process of refurbishing it.

I replaced the sword blade, which was too short. The horse tassels on the hind quarters were removed and the rump was built up on the left side. The horse's neck was also built up. The tassels were replaced and thicker crupper and forequarter leather harness was added. The bits and reins were repaired and the piece is now being repainted.
