I decided to try out some ready made foliage bases. The foliage are pre-glued to the flexible matting and come in sheets. The sheets were cut, soaked in water and then stuck onto the top of the bases with white glue. The cut edges were covered with coloured putty. A simple approach for collectors who wish to remove the figure stands and place their figures onto more elaborate bases. The figures should be pinned through the legs and secured onto the bases for stability.

Found this old thread and decided to post a recent base here. Basically a piece of driftwood was epoxied onto a square base. This was puttied over with wall putty to create rocky surfaces and then some ground work was scattered on top, fixed with white glue. The groundwork was painted over.

Here is a base made from a CD Dioramics resin casting (remeber them?) and some Historex pieces. It's big enough to display a mounted horse and some figures.
