WOW!!! This piece is definately on my "I have to have it" list for my Crusades diorama! Looks as though the "enemy" is due to arrive soon!

Absolutely ! I saw this in the FL newsletter this morning and thought "oh yeah, gotta have it".
FL keeps on rollin'.

Hi Mike,

Yeah, what a great piece! Take a look at my post of a few minutes ago, regarding my First Legion Teutonic Knight carrying the banner. I just received it an hour ago. WOW!

Bearybones,
I've not gotten that one yet...but based on what you've shown, gonna HAVE to do it!

If this figure looks as good in person, it is one of the best figures I have ever seen period. I have it on my short list as well. I am ordering my first ever Crusades figure tonight - a series I absolutely never thought I would consider.

Great figures indeed! Since we are on the mameluk topic, Matt what don't you jump a few centuries and produce the long awaited (At least on my end ;)) Napoleonic Mameluk Cavalry! Hint, hint! :D

First, thanks to all who have comments on the new Mamluks and other workbench figures. Should be a nice start to 2011 with many more Mamluks to come...

As for the Napoleonic Mamluks, unfortunately we have a lot more mainstream Napoleonic cavalry to produce first I think. There are many "basics" we have yet to cover and intend on covering before we venture off into the more exotic stuff. Mamluks would be beautiful figures, no doubt, and we'll get there at some point.

Here is the upside for you and the Napoleonic Mameluks. Since thier ranges are so comprehensive, I would say First Legion provides the best opportunity for you to see what you want!
