Terrific job, love the Chinese style roof, a real pain to make I imagine. :salute::

This Dio received a "mention in Despatches" from Andy.

Note Matt bought a Streets of Hong Kong Hakka woman just so he could get the two baskets of vegetables. Now that is attention to detail.

A wonderful, wonderful display … ^&grin

I think that your scratch-built house is a masterpiece.
You are right in the statement that the Japanese-Russian WWII period is hardly ever mentioned. Even though is was for a brief time, still an important consideration in the eventual surrender of the Japanese in WWII.

Are those bathroom tiles that you used to make the patio/steps? What a great idea!

Really well done and enjoyable to look at … and learn from.

Hi John,

The roof tiles are drinking straws split in halve and cut to size, the main parts of the building is made of balsa wood and i got the stone
work from Waynepoo. The tiles i made the steps from my wife got from a model shop for our son and pinched couple from him.
