Would go good with your latest figures Dave.

Very true Mark. I have recently ordered set #2 for this reason and intend to display them together. I've wanted this particular set for a while and finally got around to it. Here is an image of the set I am waiting for.

Dave,

I'm also a collector of this particular campaign. I have a couple of the Tradition of London sets painted, and still need to give a 'lick of paint' to The Burning of the Eagles' first, before considering geting these wonderful figures.

The only other maker I know of thats doing this series is Fusilier, and they also look great. I'm so glad that K&C didn't and has gone for Egypt.

This is an Andrea kit Dave?
Mark

Nope, sorry to be confusing in my last post Mark. The image is Manes Marzano's 2nd Moscow set. I have it on back order and hope to receive it by May or so. Should look great on the shelf with my Andrea guys I think.

Hi John, yes I seem to recall seeing some of your Russia projects on an old thread a while back. For some reason I find these sort of raggedy, wheels coming off subjects more interesting sometimes than the more neat and orderly looking ones I guess. :rolleyes2:

I have seen a lot of the Fusilier items painted and on display at a shop I used to frequent and they do look very nice. If a guy wanted to build a huge retreat from Moscow display it could be done very nicely with Manes Marzano, Fusilier and Tradition figures. Hmmmmmmm, tempting but I'm afraid my attentions wander too much to focus on one subject long enough.

I hope we see your Tradition things finished one of these days.

Very nice John! There is an awful lot of work on display there. I'll have to check Tradition's website but does that "The Retreat" set come all together in one big set? I might be tempted to have a look at these as well as some of those fusilier items.

Also nice work on the Andrea set. I'd never seen another one finished before now.

Thanks for digging up the photos for us. :salute::
