Hi Guys,

I just got back to Hong Kong yesterday afternoon after the “London Show” on Saturday and visits to both Italy and Germany.

First of all I would like to thank Sr. Stefano Allorini of Saimex in Italy, Marcus Heiss-Hasala in Germany and Mike, Sue & Tony Neville of King & Country U.K. for their great hospitality and warm welcome.

Over 10 busy days together we had a number of very informative and useful “collector meet ‘n’ greets” plus two big toy soldier shows in Milan and London. In addition, there were visits to see two outstanding private collections in Milan and Schmalkalden in Germany. In both places collectors had created “Museums” complete with huge dioramas and displays to show off their collections. Both venues are open, by appointment, to fellow collectors. I will provide more details later.

The welcome everywhere was warm even if the weather was extremely cold, however it was a whole lot of fun and I hope the participants everywhere enjoyed themselves half as much as I did.

A heartfelt thanks to all the guys (and a few girls) who took part...Here’s to next year!
