A re-issue of the marching Highlanders from the 80's would be good! If they could get all the tartans correct!

Very true Scott, nice price for some nice little figures, cant beat the value for money.

The arms may be right, but only the Grenadier Guard has the buttons right! Of course this can be easily corrected.

Yes - but if the arms were wrong - now the buttons are wrong - why not release them as castings - so WE - the amateurs - can paint 'em and get them RIGHT? johnnybach.

As I write this from my sick bed this is as close as my wife will let me get toy soldiering for a while ( Replacement hip operation recovery) parts from my spares box. I would still buy the Asset version as the castings are much better and varied.

I think it would be much better for us if Britains reissues the Guardsmen from the Trooping the Colour series, as singles or sets.

I am sending two photos to check the size and a photo of the Trooping The Colour Guards on parade.

They seem to match up alright, I haven't got any of the marching sets from the Trooping The Colour range just the Welsh Guards Unfurling the Colour & Irish Guards Escort to the Colour, both of these sets seem a little on the smaller side compared to my Redcoats so I've got them boxed up in the attic!

Hey Craig - people (and soldiers) come in all sizes too! Why not retreive your "shorties" from the attic - and put 'em on display with the other "loftier" gang. I'm sure they won't mind Seems a shame to spend that money - and then hide 'em away. jb
