G'day guys,
I have a question if I may. I am wanting to do a Marlburnian gun crew in the british 1704 uniform. Can anyone tell me where I might obtain the 54mm metal figures to paint? There seems to be a lack of marlburnian gun figures from that era. Off to bed now. I'll be on again tomorrow. Cheers, gnite. Johno.

Johno,

maybe try John Eden Studios http://www.johnedenstudios.com/

who makes Rose Miniatures. he has Infantry, but Artillery had the same cut of uniform with the tricorn hat, so with some modification I'm sure you can make gunners.

This is may painting of some

I hope this helps,

John

Johnno - Try also Irregular Miniatures - they have Marlborough figures in their 54mm range. No cannon and gunners - but you could adapt some of their Infantry - they also have Officer and other mounted figures too - but no cannon in that range . Have a look also at their Napoleonics - 'cos there's a nice cannon there to adapt. jb

Thanks guys. I have only just thought of the Rose castings for modification. I also have a few of my soldiers painted on Irregular miniatures web site. They are in the Malburnian and US Civil War sections of the site. Only if you want to look though. Sorry, just showing off. I will look at the ATS site too. Thanks so much John and Johnnybach. Cheers, Johno.
