Here is another Napoleonic Marshal. As the plume was detached and the helmet tuft was missing, the owner asked me to refurbish the piece and replace it with a much smaller base as he was running out of display space.

The piece was made from a Historex kit. Wires were drilled into the helmet to resculpt the missing tuft and reattach the plume.

As St Cyr was a musician and brought his violin with him on campaigns, I decided to add a violin and bow to this piece to give it more context. Violin was from Dorset castings, bow was made from wire. After carefully prising open the right arm and inserting the violin, I decided to result part of the upper arms to accommodate this new pose.

Just completed the face. Started to add some gold paint all over.

Just finished updating this piece and wrote his name on the base. Will add grass later.
