I found this figurine in a fair yesterday for 3 euros...A really good one for this price). I have partially repainted it and improved the details.

I am fascinated by the retreats of invading armies from Russia, in fact I did a large diorama about the retreat of the Alpine troops in the winter of 1943 but I had nothing about Napoleon's retreat...

Good job! He looks like the painting. I always like your choice of colors and matte/gloss finishes.
There are plenty of Retreat from Moscow figures, we have an older Fusilier set; they are nicely sculpted and cast and painted with some cool bases and scenery. I like Blackhawk's newer range and FL's too! Tradition did I nice toy-style one. And there are many, many more.
But I'm always glad to see a different version/style of any figure or range - variety is the spice of life. Nice!
Best Wishes,
Paddy

Thank you for the likes:salute::

I agree with you, Paddy, there are different companies who made the retreat of Napoleon from Russia, but not many Marshal Ney!:p

Interesting figures. Interesting that the one I have is an italian version of the same sculpt as Hachette..

...And also the hat has a different position. I saw other cases of a same sculpt with minor modifications made by another company.
