Picture looks neat. I have a few dark blue 60mm but did they make recasts of the 60mm guys? Leadmen

These are originals, not recasts. The majority of the Rin Tin Tin Fort Apaches cavalry came in metallic blue. My understanding is the powder blue sets came with Canadian Fort Apaches and the tan came in header box sets. I have also heard that the powder blue also came in header box sets, but not sure if this is true or not. I also have three figures in a red brown and a single figure in brown, unsure where they came from, I think they were mold test shots. In addition I have some gray figures that supposedly were the tan but turned gray in the dump.

They did make recasts that came in a dark non metallic blue in a stiffer plastic.

Thanks for the info. I remember the famous dump stories and the treasurers that the West Virginia area held. Bill Nace use to tell me and heard it from others. The only dumps I found were at flea markets. Leadmen

Yeah, I heard there's actually two dumps and one is relatively untouched because the guy won't let anyone dig on his land. The other I hear they are in holes like 12 feet deep still digging figures up. I just wish I owned that land.

Grays, really rare, they are mutants.

Nope, not pod mutants, they're mutants because they were once tan in color and got turned gray at the dump.
