Thanks for posting this Scott. You know I worked as a clerk in a hobby shop specializing in military models here in Detroit in the early 1970s and I somehow missed that I&R did this figure.
On one hand I am surprised how similar the poses are... but then I am sure we both used the same images for inspiration!

Ken the poses look very much like the more formal photo of Mary Tepe. The outdoor photo was ID'd to a few days after Gettysburg. I first saw the I & R pose in the mid to late 1960s. I took another I & R Mary and did her G'burg outfit with the visible boots (gaiters?)
I usually don't collect painted figures but I really wanted the Britains Mary.
