I'm happy that it's on NetFix as I hadn't seen it all back in 81. Two episodes in and I'm rooting for the Romans this time. The siege tower model is on display at Universal Studios. I don't know how authentic the Roman gear is but it looked like they made an effort for authenticity. Riders in close-ups have no stirrups.
