Hi There Mapleleaf,

While I do love the Durbar by Beau Geste I would not buy them in matte. Sorry but the colors dont pop for me and the look is just not my cup of tea. But obviously you like them so dont take offense by my dislike of them. Just an opinion.

Your matte finished Durbar figures clearly reflect the quality of painting so characteristic of Beau Geste. I am very, very glad you are pleased with them. And, I am very glad you posted the photos as I wanted to see some of the matte finished Durbar figures.

I assume you plan to develop a nice display or diorama with the matte finished figures. If so, I hope you will share photos of your display. It will be interesting to see a variety of matte Durbar figures displayed together.

Again, thanks for posting the photos. I enjoy viewing them.

I always wondered how they would look in matte
Only way to know is order a set cause one figure wont do it
So i did and here's result. Figures look better in front of u.
Pictures don't do them justice. I ordered an elephant and escort
When i receive i will post pictures of elephant
