Golf - The Game That Never Happened

This a new range for Thomas Gunn, as we are driving forward and putting our new Golf Range forward and to the fore. However no 'Bunkers' are planned for this range, but we are hoping you will find them Tee-riffic. As a bit of fun we are offering a set of all 3 Golfers as a prize if you can guess who they are or were in real life. Romans

One of Thomas Gunn Miniatures most sort after ranges, the Romans. We bring some great editions to the range.

ROM146. The Roman Legatus with Sword [in modern terms, the General] in discussion with the Emperor and sharing wine, after his famous victory, wearing a laurel wreath, as military commanders and Emperors did after a battle or campaign.

ROM147. The Emperor in Contemplation. With a Roman Eagle [Aquila] and holding a golden wine goblet. Encased in golden armor, with a purple cloak. A man who seems to have the known world at his feet or is it on his shoulders?

ROM148. The Empress Hand Maiden. The first of our Handmaidens, whose only responsibility was to meet every need and want of the Empress and sometimes the Emperor!

ROM149B. Praetorian With Eagle, wings Folded. Following on from last month's Praetorian releases this figure adds to the Thomas Gunn Elite Roman troops. Limited to 50 figures worldwide.

ROM151. The Empress, near naked in a military Cloak. Historians have written how some Emperors used to order the Empress to parade around in various stages of dress for his own and others delight at social gatherings. Sometimes she would wear full military uniform and on other occasions less was declared best!

ROM154. Garden Nymph - Sprite Equally at home in our Roman Range and the Myth, Legends, and Biblical Range. Our first Garden Nymph release will appeal to collectors of both ranges. Our Garden Nymph is name Sprite, after the mythical, fairy-like creature who lives by the water. Sprites are supernatural and sometimes tricky and looking at her, she certainly looks mischievous and playful.

Dear all

Welcome to our May 2023 Releases. Time is moving fast and this month we have some new Romans, WW2 German Heer Figures, and the release of a new Golf range, which is a new exciting direction for the company.

A picture of Alfie for all you fans of him, as he feeling a little rough and unhealthy or unAlfie as we say in the office, he has been in the wars recently and is awaiting full medevac in one of our Hueys, we are looking at the award of a Purple Heart at the same time!

Agree, i also thought of female caddies such as Rachel Welsh, M Monroe, etc. Posing with the golf bag etc. 007 and Goldfinger and Oddjob, famous Golf scene. Samuel L Jackson, playing in his Kilt.
