Lt. Gen. HR McMaster is the new National Security Adviser. He commanded M1 Abrams and M2 Bradleys at the Battle of 73 Easting which was featured on THE GREATEST TANK BATTLES episode.
He got his PhD at the University of North Carolina, my oldest brother's alma mater, and a few miles from my hometown.

I want to get his book on Johnson, McNamara and the Vietnam War under their direction.

Prost!

Dereliction of Duty is a must read for all interested in military history and hopefully our new President will read it as well.
McMaster is a great choice for our security team along with Mattis and Kelly......gives me some hope!

Hard to believe it was 26 years ago this week. I was a Sergeant Gunner on a Scout M3 Bradley during this battle. Something that was left out
of the video was that both Bradley's and Abrams Tanks were issued D/U Depleted Uranium Sabot ammo. Even the 25mm cannon of the Bradley
was able to shoot through the Hull of T-55 and T-62 Tanks.

This is a great choice! I served with him 2nd Armored Division at Fort Hood back in the day! So glad he got he job he is a straight shooter and not a yes man.

Iron Knights!

Really intriguing video. Not my collecting era, but still a great tank to tank battle. Robin.

General McMaster went to my (military) high school, and I have had the honor to meet him. I am ecstatic about this choice.
