for a medal possibly belonging to lawrence of arabias
father [whether its the real deal or not I wouldnt know]

Very neat auction. I would say the best way to check this info would be to view the Army Records for the Brekshire Regiment and and see if they had a T Lawrence listed. Not sure who maintians those records but i am sure someone does.

Still its a very neat item

I can clear up the confusion- I used to go by the callsign TLawrence when I was with the Berkshires- those were the days- good campaigns there!!! Probably one of my old medals I passed on to some unsuspecting young lass

But really, that would be quite a find!! I hope the guy who wins that bid gets the real deal.
