I've collected the siege equipment, still collecting the figures, now I have to decide which barszo castle to get?image.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpeg

These will look great in a castle setting. Keep updating this thread please. Robin.

It would be great to see K&C add to the Crusader series some more siege equipment.

Regards
Mark

Looks like your getting together the figures and equipment for that castle you had in mind, Howard. I believe i have seen that Barso castle on either the forum or ebay and it is real good. But as you say it will be pricey. I would try building one. Regards Greg.

Never thought the Barzo castle was expensive, for me as a 1/30 collector the 54mm format is my issue. If I thought my figures would look right against, I would have it in an instant. Robin.

It is not beyond doing, this example is 54mm ish but with some twicking it can be up scaled to 1/30. I have most of the moulds needed and one or two more is all that's required. I am guessing about 4x 25 kg bags of Hydro-stone @ $50 a bag and plenty of time and Bob' your Uncle. This one took the bloke five months.......:rolleyes2:

Sorry off on a tangent here but I know Robin you like your Egyptian stuff......here is some examples of what can be done with the moulds that are available.

I really appreciate the feedback from my fellow forum members. The castle and Egyptian piece are fantastic. Last year at the east coast toy soldier show there was a guy that had custom made castle towers and walls with a working drawbridge. I wish I grabbed his business card. I might wait until the show in November and check out his stuff again before I decide what to get. Regards to all. Howard

You have just broken Robin's bank but kept his modeler employed for a while Wayne! ^&grin

Nice acquisitions Howard.

Very nice, quite an imposing tower, lots of possibilities for displaying figures. Looking forward to seeing your diorama's. Robin.

Looks like a nice display coming up with your medieval collection Howard. Regards Greg.
