Just wondering, are many of you guys on facebook?

I'm on there and Twitter but don't use it that much.

No - just got my first mobile phone last year so I am a bit of a latter day Luddite. I joined twitter one day when I was bored and got immediate requests to follow people. I never used it. Working in education students quickly work out who can be followed/stalked/spied on via social media so I have tended to steer clear. I would come home from work, check my post office box, letterbox, answering machine, mobile (I never carry it!), my work email, my home email, Treefrog and by that stage it was time to go to bed!

Hi Rob,

yes I am on there and besides being able to chat with friends and family it has been a great source to find different venues in the toy soldier hobby, as I joined the First legion facebook page I have becomes friends with Russian sculptors, painters, modelers from all over the world, so I really enjoy it...Sammy

Did sign up for it but not active. Pretty much like Jack. Work and private emails, this forum and a web page gives me enough IT in my life already. My mobile is just a phone as far as I am concerned so I am pretty stone age.

Besides I dont need to know when somebody has posted a photo, checked into a hotel or is having lunch etc.

I am on there but i hardly ever use it. Like a few others on this thread, i am not all that into the social media thing and about the only tech gadget that i use heavily is my mobile phone, oh and my pc for ebay, this site, emails and uploading pic's from my camera!

Using the FB I've been able to "friend" reenactors who post photos from Russia, France, Italy and the US of A. There are a few TS collectors and makers that have FB pages as well. If you get on their feeds, it overpowers other friend's and relative's cat pictures, "like" this or else posts, and things debunked on Snopes two years ago.

No Sir. No social media, no cellphone, no large screen HD anything, and I am still happy.^&cool I use this PC for this forum, research, hunting books, and the very occasional e-mail (on my wife's address). I have a touchtone land-line and a few 1990's era TV's to stay in touch with family, friends, baseball, and current events. Can you say dinosaur? I know you can.:wink2: -- Al

I have also used facebook to connect with history buffs, reenactors, and TS collectors. May I say that Scott's page is worth a look at- best historical humor out there!

Not me,I have a laptop, regular cellphone that is actually used as a phone,a 32" tv and that's about it.I hardly ever text
