Wishing everyone (the world over) a Happy and Safe Memorial Day.

My wife and I visited the Wisconsin Veterans Museum on Saturday - and I thought this is a very good day to share some of the pictures. (Photos will be in two posts).

That is one imposing museum!! Wish I had the chance to get there.

I got an e-mail this morning from our old friend Ed Pijuan (Halomeeps), a retired Green Beret who did a tour in Afghanistan back circa 2005, and who is now a Miama Dade Police Sergeant. He was passing around a reminder about keeping the troops in mind today, and I thought this thread was a good place to pass this sentiment along.

Ed is a great guy, who has been to the symposium, and visited again to go to a yankee game with his son and I at the old stadium. He doesn't post much any more, but I just want to thank him, and all the other veterans on this forum, for their service. :) None of us would be here without them.

Wonderful museum, great pics and best wishes to all my US friends on memorial day.Heres to the memory of all that have fought for our freedom.

Rob

thoughts and prayers go out to all the men and women of our U.S. forces past and present on this Memorial day, please take a moment out of your day to remember those that have fallen, or served our country in the call of duty...Sammy
