Sam W Floca,,,!st Inf Div Officer,,4th Cavalry Commander,,Present and adjacent to My 2nd Bn ,,18th Inf rgt ,,Recon Pltn at the Battle Of Sok Trang,,One of its Names,,Little Remembered except in 1st Div History,,Late June ,,4th July 1966,,along Highway 13-"thunder Road,",the border with Cambodia,,Nva-Vc blocked and couldn't escape across the river,,,After all this time we met as we could have at that time ,,,,Best to you Col,,and to our lost soldiers from those days,,,memories of that in bound airstrike that couldn't be waved off,,,,the 4th Cav Zippo track that had a bad igniter spraying raw napalm on the close in other side,,
