Nice photos!

That whole series was a good one, I thought, a good revival of the toy soldier style. I have several sets of the Imperial German field artillery in review order.

A question about that Vickers mount-I've seen pictures of it, but never looked this up. Was that an improvised mount, made in the field, or was it produced in the factory and shipped to units in the field? It looks like a mount improvised out of a wagon wheel, but I could see that one it was first put together, someone back home starting knocking them together and shipping them out to the front.

I have this set and feel fortunate that I have it: it's very nice and covers a front not that well covered. I also love any Premier sets really and surely wish the series was still around. So thank you E-bay for letting me get my hands on some of these sets:D. Another great photo and background, it's now getting to be an art form, many thanks for posting it.
