This figure was assembled up to this stage. The original horse head which was ridiculously thin was substituted with a Historex head. Aside from that, these kits are very well sculpted and cast.

Looks like you still have some of the finer bits still to add, but should look good when completed,

Starting to paint the cuirassier general. I haven't yet decided which general and what colour of horse to use. Dark brown or white.

Go for a dark horse, that will match the other Cuirassiers :)

Very prescriptive...:) I agree with you. The figure is obviously a portrait of General D'Hautpoul, riding a dark brown horse.
