This figure was assembled up to this stage. The original horse head which was ridiculously thin was substituted with a Historex head. Aside from that, these kits are very well sculpted and cast.

Go for a dark horse, that will match the other Cuirassiers

Very prescriptive... I agree with you. The figure is obviously a portrait of General D'Hautpoul, riding a dark brown horse.
