From my humble beginnings in the early 2004ish until now 20 years later, the State of the Union of the Metal Toy Soldier World are flourishing!!!
No doubt there have been low times along the way with a few companies deciding to close, or a 100 year Pandemic, Prices, closing of many a brick and mortar stores, etc. But if you look at the options, Companies, Independent sellers that are out there it's awesome for todays collector!! Just look at the 1st section of treefrog today and the releases of so many new items from classic K&C, FL, TG, WB, JJD, to the new guys of War Park, ( Hua spelling?) George's new collaboration, and others I may have not mentioned I apologize, ......the Hobby seems to be thriving more then I can remember, even with Prices as they are, but quality, detail has followed as well in most cases, so raise a Cup to we small band of collectors, we are still here.
