It's cause your Dad's an excellent salesman mate. Oh, hang on, I think I might have mixed up the new employee. Is she available to tend bar in London at the end of June?

Like the Spartan vs Turks dio. :)

She was smokin' hot, but that poor girl was freezing in the A/C! Later this superbuff dude was also hanging around, handing out casino vouchers. I asked her if that was her bodyguard.

Yes I was as a matter of fact, can you blame me?..........I think that was my fourth attempt at a decent picture too.......{sm4}

Finally got to meet some of you guys- I don't know who was more scared- Brad of my paisley shirt, or me of Brad not looking like Fredrick the Great. But seriously- nice to meet you Brad!
-Sandor

Not scared, Sandor, just surprised that the VFMA's class A uniform includes a paisley shirt. Though, I understand the commandant is thinking of introducing a field uniform for exercises that includes a Hawaiian shirt :D

It was a pleasure to meet you, too, Sandor, and it was very nice to meet your mom on Saturday. I'm impressed by the knowledge you already have about history and the figures you collect, and by the projects you're working on and that you have planned. If I can help in any way, with modeling tips, please feel free to ask.

Of course, you have a great support group in Don, Pat, Peter, Walt, Herd and Loren, too. It's like having six more uncles. Make sure to avail yourself of their experience!

Prost!

My Father was going around introducing that girl as his sister.............:wink2:

Not sure if she would be interested in tending bar at the London show, I think this show was more than enough for her to handle...............:p

I was shocked that diorama did not win any awards, what were the judges thinking??......probably something like "Good Lord, please tell me this isn't happening at our show"........

Man, that was a good show! :D Sorry I missed meeting most of you. I was in and out of the show so much this year...

Brad (TheBaron Brad), any idea when the awards will be posted on the website? One of the Italian guys asked me to let him know. If it's a matter of finding time, I could volunteer to type it up in an Excel file or something if the sheets are scanned and emailed to me, or even picture taken of the sheets and emailed to me. :)

Hi, Wendy! Hopefully by Friday. The cumbersome part is that we enter the info into a Powerpoint presentation, so I have to go back in and extract the info (text and photos), for use on the site. I may just link the Powerpoint file to the page, for the time being, just to get the info there.

Prost!

Here are my observations:

First, from an AFV point of view, it was the T-34 show, few Tigers, but T-34's for sale (KC, First Legion and (rumored) Figarti) as well as in the Exhibition area:

Secondly, in my opinion there were less WWI and WWII items in general, but more Napoleonics - and "Fritz" is back ....

The more exotic, the better.
