I was in the shop yesterday. Looking for the latest K&C retired sets for the LAH series. As I am going through the stock I see a two set LAH32 box. I sai to Mike What's in the LAH32? He was surprised and said it was the Drum and Fife set. He said it was discontinued. It was obvious that he wanted to keep it but relented. And , I got it for the regular price:eek: I get a longtime retired LAH set and am really happy about it.

Michael ROCKS because he could have taken the set and sold it on eBay for huge bucks. He always does the right thing. If you do business with them you will not be disappointed.

Moral of the story. If you are fortunate to live near a shop as I am. Make sure you look real close and ask," What's this?"

Good story KV- I of course live near a few- was in one last week and scored the NV19(?) KC French WW1 Commerative statue scenic piece for $25. I believe that piece has been retired for sometime. I was kicking myself in the tail for passing on it and, whaddya know, I got it now.

Mike and Myszka Hall and other dealers such as Shannon & Pete Reuss, Andy Moffat and George Guerrireo make this a very enjoyable and stress free hobby when it comes to ordering any of the products they carry. We are very lucky to have good folks like that out there.

Nonsense- they are like pushers of some kind of addictive substance- especially that George!!:D Caesar demands that they be put to the sword- or better yet- a toy soldier dealer death match in the colleseum!! :D

I swear, everytime I have some kind of bad day or get to feeling down, nothing puts me back in the saddle like buying a ts or two or three or a dozen. Lord only knows how much better my life could be if these guys were so doggone accessible!!:p

Good to hear from you Randy.

I agree! I've been ordering toy soldiers online from different dealers for several years and have never had a bad experience. Sadly that can't be said of my other shopping ventures:(. They really are wonderful people to deal with.

Chris, it sounds like you need a fix. Might I suggest the aquisition of a centurian and a few legionaires too sooth the nerves before April 15:D. You could be bold and get another War Galley, after all doesn't your ship need a wingman;):D.
