Thanks for the tip, Dave! I didn't know you guys had a channel, but I've subscribed to it now at YouTube.

Interesting to use the pointillist's technique, I never would have thought of that, for this application. I've used the filter technique on aircraft models, which is a little similar, except that we drag the dots to streak the color. Very interesting, to see your step-by-step!

Having never had a lesson in my life, the eye painting lesson was a real eye-opener for me! (sorry 'bout that!). Yep - I'm in too - though how on earth I'm going to do that in 54mm..................... think positive - if you never try - you will never know!
My one tip is to try to do what MTS does on a maragarine tub lid first in a larger scale. It worked for me, that way. johnnybach
