Miles Ahead (1 Viewer)

I haven't seen this movie because it's not a period of Miles that I like. However, he is one of the most influential of all jazzmen. He was present at the beginning of bop (Charlie Parker and Dizzy Gillespie took him under their wing because they saw his gifts), helped start the cool movement with his "Birth of the Cool" album, a great album, and helped found the hard bop movement that still holds sway. He started the Quintet, which employed John Coltrane and Bill Evans, among others.
