Yesterday I received a gift from Fred at King & Country Paris, the first two and 8th issues of "Millitoys" magazine. I don't speak or read French, but you don't need to be able to read the text to enjoy this wonderful magazine. It is chock full of excellent photographs of everything from King & Country and other 54mm metal toy soldiers, through diecast tanks and planes to 12 inch "G.I. Joe" style military figures. The first issue contains an excellent pictorial on the history of King & Country which has photos of some extrememly rare early items, including the best photograph I've ever seen of the "Les Miserables" set. The magazine's photos are far superior to anything I've seen in the english language toy soldier magazines. I would highly recommend this magazine for any collectors, but especially those who speak French.

I've been receiving copies of these, from time to time, from Pierre and except for the language drawback this is far superior to Toy Soldier Magazine or Toy Soldier Collector. They show you nice pictures of things put out by everybody. I need to subscribe to it.
