Our collection continues with a series of Singapore Army figures in the current uniform and gear used by the actual soldiers serving today.
In 2004, the Singapore Army underwent a transition of modernisation. Part of this included a switch in the uniform, gear and weapon systems used by the soldiers.
For example, the early generation woodland green camouflage uniform gave way to a pixelated camouflage design, and the M16 was replaced by the SAR 21 (Singapore Assault Rifle).
Our collection of 3rd Gen Singapore Army soldier figures consists of the various roles that formed a typical section.
SCOUTS RECCE TROOPER & COMMANDER 1/26 FIGURES (SA028 & SA029)
Instantly recognisable with their jungle hats, our Recce Commander figure is raising his fist, signalling the trooper on patrol to a halt. On their backs is the ALICE (All-Purpose Lightweight Individual Carrying Equipment) field pack. They are also armed with the SAR 21 rifle.

COMBAT MEDIC 1/26 FIGURE (SA021)
Our Combat Medic figure is armed with the SAR 21 rifle, and carries a medic backpack and folded stretcher.

M203 GUNNER 1/26 FIGURE (SA007)
Our M203 Gunner figure knees behind tree cover, preparing to launch a 40mm high explosive grenade round. He is armed with the SAR 21 and M203 attachment.

GPMG COMMANDER & GUNNER 1/26 FIGURES (SA022 & SA023)
Our GPMG Gunner is equipped with an FN MAG 7.62 mm general-purpose machine gun, with a spare barrel at his side. He is accompanied by a commander in prone position, looking through his binoculars to direct fire.

MILITARY WORKING DOG UNIT HANDLER WITH GERMAN SHEPHERD 1/26 FIGURE (SA030)
Our MWDU handler is depicted in a “baiting” pose, with his highly trained guard dog alert and ready to engage on command.
