Hi everyone!

We are new on the forum, and we are really excited to share our line of collectible figures with you.
First, a quick introduction - Caleb and Terra here, and we are the husband and wife Co-Founders of Miniature Stories, a brand based in Singapore! We design and produce our own line of hand-painted metal figures, which currently fall into two collections: the Singapore Army Series, and the Singapore / Malaya Heritage Series.

Both collections are in 1/26 scale. Many collectors have asked about why we chose this unusual scale. The reason was actually because our local customers, most of whom are military men and not collectors, prefer slightly larger figurines.

Our website is http://miniature-stories.com and our Facebook and Instagram handles are miniaturestoriesSG.

We started off as collectors ourselves, and this was really what inspired us to start our own line of figures that depict our own country’s history, military and culture. Though Singapore is a small and relatively young nation as compared to others, we nonetheless are excited about sharing it with overseas collectors such as yourselves.

Without further ado, we are pleased to present our collection! We will cover our collection in separate posts due to the 5-picture limit. More background info on the respective figures will be covered as we go along. We hope you like them! Keep the comments and suggestions coming!

AMX-13 SM1 TANK 1/26 MODEL (VH001)

The AMX-13 SM1 is a variant of the French AMX-13 light tank. The Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) acquired them in 1968 and upgraded them in 1988 to the Singapore Modernised 1 Tanks (SM1). The key improvements, that set it apart from its predecessor, included a complete automotive refit with a new water cooled, turbocharged diesel engine, a new fully automotive transmission, as well as a new electrical and hydro-pneumatic suspension system.

When designing the AMX-13 SM1 Tank Model, we focused on ensuring that it accurately captured these details that distinguish it from the original AMX-13 models. At the time of its release, our SM1 variant of the popular AMX-13 model is the first and only one of its kind available in the world.

DIMENSIONS: Approx. 27cm (L) x 10cm (W) – 1/26 Scale
MATERIAL: Hand-painted resin with metal parts

We produced them in two finishing options. The first, Weathered-Muddy, has realistic mud effects to resemble training and battle scenarios, whilst the second, Classic Temasek Green, has a cleaner look, with just light weathering effects to retain focus on the model itself.

The set includes 3 crew figures – the vehicle commander, gunner and driver.

Movable parts include a rotatable turret, fully-functioning gun traverse lock, hatches that can open and close, and removable figures and accessories such as jerry cans and bamboo poles.

We also make-to-order jungle bases to complete the AMX-13 SM1 model’s display. Singapore Army figures are also available to accompany the tank (more on them in the next post).

Hi Caleb and Terra,

Here's wishing you a very warm welcome to the Treefrog Treasures Forum.

I am glad you have decided to join up to share your fine products with international collectors.

The Singapore/Malaya Heritage collection is great with a unique "Straits" charm.

Best Wishes, Raymond.

Thank you, Raymond! We're happy to be here. In a way, it's like coming full circle... as Caleb used to trawl this forum himself as a collector. :D

Yes, I think our Heritage collection will be of interest here. We'll certainly update and share more as we go along.

Cheers,
Terra
