Yo Troopers, having served in a Centurion its always been on my must have list. Got the Minichamps 1:35 Centurion this morning and guys its a STUNNER 99% Diecast and its a working model, it runs on the tracks, the road wheels have independent suspension, the turret rotates 180 degrees, and the Gun elevates up and down. The detail is superb, the only fault I could find with it is the plastic mounted Browning on the Commanders hatch. The Tank measures 8 1/2" long from front to rear, with the Barrel its 11". It Measures 4" wide x 4" High. It comes in a picture box with all the info on the Centurion and is packed in a polystyrene case, it took me 10 minutes working out how to get it out lol, its bolted in the case from the bottom with two screws, almost impossible to get damaged in the post, which is a big plus these days. All in all must rate it 10 out of 10 even with the plastic Browning and at £59.00 it has to be one of the best Model tanks on the market. :D. Will post more photo's later on today.
Bernard.

Fine looking tank. Hard to believe that it was originally placed in service in 1945. It has a very modern and lethal look to it.

That is a beauty, makes one want to start collecting tanks:eek: If they all looked that good, I think it would be very hard to resist.:D

Yo Trooper, it has made me think about it as well they are that good. Originally was just looking for this Centurion, nobody that I know of made our other Tank when I served the Conqueror. But looking at the rest of the Minichamps range of German & American Tanks has got me thinking. Take a look at www.mikes-tanks.com you can see them on his site, some great photo's as well.

Must agree. Looked at mikestanks.com and love the M60 and leopards. Recall loading the 60's and huffin' next to them in the 80's. The Centurian looks sharp as hell, like it should, not all mucked up. Got a good one there Bernard, to remind you!;) Mike

I was familiar with minichamps model cars but did not know they did military. Seems I keep seeing requests for K and C to build a Deuce and half. Minichamps has a WW2 deuce and a half that looks like you could drive it. I doubt that Andy could do better......................

Although they are listed at 1:35 the prices run from about $99 - $115 bucks can't beat that.
